Terms of Investigation
The formal agreement between our bureau and your team.
1. The Nature of the Case & Joint Delivery
Dear Watson Mysteries is a joint experience. Arcane Mysteries provides the digital, self-guided investigation app and mystery content. The Dear Watson restaurant (located in Prague, CZ) is solely responsible for the physical facility, table service, food, beverages, and any in-person payments. Arcane Mysteries is not liable for your physical safety, the quality of food/beverages, or the actions of other patrons within the establishment. Please respect the venue and local laws.
2. Digital Access & The EU 14-Day Waiver
Access is granted via one-time digital codes. In accordance with EU consumer protection laws, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, by "Breaking the Seal" on the digital case file, you explicitly consent to the immediate delivery of the digital content. By doing so, you acknowledge and agree that your 14-day right of withdrawal for digital goods is permanently waived, and refunds will not be issued once the seal is broken.
3. Payments (Comgate)
Online payments for the mystery access codes are processed securely via the Comgate payment gateway. We do not store your credit card or bank details. By completing a purchase, you agree to Comgate's terms of service.
4. Player Responsibilities
You must provide your own compatible mobile device and internet connection. We are not liable for battery failure or signal loss. The mystery is designed specifically for, and must be played on-site at, Dear Watson in Karlín, Prague, Czech Republic.
5. Intellectual Property
All scripts, videos, images, and puzzle designs are the exclusive property of Arcane Mysteries. Reproduction, distribution, or public sharing of the mystery's solutions or case details is strictly prohibited.
6. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Prague.
